Barentz Appoints Matt Mitchell as Global VP, Pharmaceuticals

Barentz, a global specialty ingredients solutions provider, has appointed Matt Mitchell as Global Vice President, Pharmaceuticals.

Mitchell has served as Interim Head of the Pharmaceuticals Division since March 2026 and has successfully led the business through a period of continued growth and strategic execution. Following a comprehensive selection process, he has now been appointed to the role on a permanent basis. He will also remain a member of Barentz’s Executive Leadership Team.

Mitchell brings more than 25 years of experience in the specialty ingredients industry, including extensive expertise in pharmaceuticals gained during leadership roles in IFF Pharma Solutions, Dupont, and FMC.
